Hello and welcome to Young Fibro Mites,

I have created this site because i am a young sufferer of Fibromyalgia(FM) and my mother has Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (M.E) so after talking to some young people with the same illnesses i decided to make this site to bring together young sufferers and  young carers of sufferers! This site provides Forums so that you can chat to eachother and give eachother tips and perhaps meet if you live near eachother! There are a few rules so that we all stay happy online, and a few guidelines to follow before joining.

NOTE: this site is for Young people under 25 that have FM, ME/CFS, HMS or care for somebody with one of those stated illnesses.

1. Be Kind (this is a friendly site)
2. Dont take advantage of yours or other people's condition
3. Respect the other members
4. No swearing
5. No mature content (you know what i mean by that)
6. Respect the rules

Follow these guidelines before and when joining YFM:

1. Fill in the application on the 'Join YFM' page
2. After sending wait for an e-mail reply (which should welcome you with your details)
3. Sign Up to the Forums with the Nickname stated on the e-mail reply
4. Once all guideline steps are completed you are a full member! (and can start taking part straight away)

NOTE: Because of technical problems do not use a picture when registering with the Forums!
